A parent, guardian, school or authorised adult must control the account, choose appropriate activities and supervise a child or young learner's use of BOBIS Junior.
Our safeguarding principles
- Collect the minimum information needed for a learning activity.
- Use age-appropriate language, visuals and tasks.
- Avoid public contact details, precise location, school schedules and other unnecessary identifiers.
- Keep private messaging and community access restricted unless safe moderation and adult controls are in place.
- Make reporting clear and respond to credible safety concerns promptly.
- Do not design rewards to pressure children into spending or sharing personal information.
Rules for every adult and contributor
Never use BOBIS to groom, exploit, sexualise, threaten, shame, privately recruit or commercially manipulate a child. Do not ask a young learner to move to a private chat, meet offline, send money, share intimate material or keep a conversation secret from their responsible adult.
Teachers, partners and contributors must only upload material they are authorised to use and must avoid exposing a learner's identity or performance publicly without appropriate permission.
Information adults should not submit
Do not upload identity documents, medical details, private family information, precise live location, personal phone numbers, passwords, financial information or images that reveal more than a learning task requires. If sensitive information is accidentally submitted, contact us so we can help remove it.
Report a concern
Email support@bobis.com.ng with the subject Urgent BOBIS Junior safety concern. Include the relevant page or account, what happened and when, but do not forward illegal or intimate imagery.
